On the morning of June 10, organizers of the 15th National Games unveiled the official medals for the upcoming event, featuring a design that symbolically ties together the shared aspirations of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The medal, named “同心跃” (literally translated as 'leaping ahead as one'), was revealed at a ceremony in the Guangdong Olympic Sports Centre. Created by a team of designers from Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group and a professor from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, the piece captures the spirit of unity and dynamism across the three regions.

Its front features a layered emblem that evokes rising fireworks, positioned just above a blooming peony, a national symbol. Encircling the design are three M?bius strip-inspired rings representing the interconnected vitality of the Pearl River Delta cities. Sixty-six engraved lines around the rim trace the history of the National Games since its inception in 1959.

On the reverse, a Chinese white dolphin, the Games' mascot, leaps playfully amidst swirling waves. The waves merge into a figure resembling the number "15," symbolizing both the edition of the Games and the connectivity of the waterways across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

The medal's attachment ring also draws from regional symbolism, taking cues from the iconic design of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, underscoring a message of integration and solidarity.

For the first time, the front of the medal for professional-level events contains no text—only visual elements. According to designer Lin Hongjie, this minimalist approach followed feedback from athletes who felt the medal's meaning speaks for itself.

With 152 days to go, the 15th National Games are scheduled to take place from November 9 to 21, 2025, marking the first time that Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao will co-host the event. The opening ceremony is set to be held in Guangzhou, with the closing ceremony in Shenzhen.
