China Southern Airlines (CSA) has announced a significant increase in flight operations and passenger services to meet the surging travel demand during the 137th Canton Fair. The airline expects to operate over 15,600 flights in and out of Guangzhou during China's largest trade show, marking an 18% increase from the previous session. CSA plans to operate 12,400 domestic flights, including around 1,000 wide-body aircraft services (A350, A330, B787), with added capacity on key routes such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Yiwu, and Taizhou. Over 1,300 flights will utilize China-made aircraft like the C919 and ARJ21, promoting domestic aviation.
On the international front, the airline will run nearly 3,300 flights to major hubs including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Paris, and Amsterdam, supporting trade partners from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Oceania.

To support seamless travel during the 137th Canton Fair, CSA is offering complimentary shuttle buses between Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and the exhibition venue for verified exhibitors and buyers.
Additional services include a "door-to-door" baggage service, where staff will collect, pack, and handle checked luggage directly from participants' locations, ensuring smooth delivery from aircraft to the fairground.
At Terminal 2, dedicated check-in counters for Canton Fair guests are now open for both domestic and international flights, featuring extra baggage drop lanes and English-speaking staff to provide on-the-spot assistance. A fast-track security lane exclusive to Canton Fair travelers is also available to streamline departure procedures.
