Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce import and export volume reached 427.34 billion yuan in the first half of 2024.

This marks a significant growth from 11.3 billion yuan in 2015 to 843.3 billion yuan in 2023, with an average annual growth rate of 71.4%. Cross-border e-commerce now accounts for over 10% of Guangdong's total foreign trade and more than one-third of the national cross-border e-commerce import and export volume.
