A “Shenzhen Stories” themed promotional event kicked off in Beijing on June 21, with three representative stories shared with the guests, who are foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations.

The stories featured Chang Hongji, principal dancer of the Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theatre; Wang Chuanfu, chairman and CEO of BYD; and Yi Qunlin, a migrant worker in Shenzhen.

Their stories offered the audience a glimpse of the modernization of Shenzhen and China in general.
